Meet the Shoe Bike, a hair brained combination of adidas’ high-performance shoes with Continental rubber soles and a passion for cycling.
It’s probably advisable to follow Chris Froome’s example in using Continental’s actual bike tyres when cycling but the Shoe Bike does show the shear level of grip that has been developed for adidas’ running shoes.
With expertise spanning over 140 years, the results of Continental being adidas’ grip partner has been staggering. Three marathon world records have been achieved since 2011 by those wearing adidas Adizero shoes with Continental Traction Compound soles.
And what better way to showcase our cycling and running credentials than with the Shoe Bike?
