[divider]Classed as one of the UK’s toughest triathlons, the Ben Nevis Braveheart involves a 1.2-mile sea loch swim, a 56-mile road cycle and the cream of the crop, a 13-mile hill run to the summit of Ben Nevis and back.
On the 17 September the event returns for its second year with over 200 competitors set to make their way to Fort William to challenge themselves on Britain’s highest mountain. Among those competitors will be TV presenter and musician Dougie Vipond.
