A new company has launched in the UK offering cyclists the chance to design their own bike

Two Suffolk businessmen have recently launched Aspire Cycles, a road bike brand that, through an online platform, gives potential bike buyers the opportunity to customise a bike to suit them.

Aspire Cycles’ ‘Bike Builder’ tool allows users to select a frame type, choose from 15 designs, paint the frame from a pallet of 24 colours and choose the finish from matt or gloss. Users can also build the bike using world leading brands in cycle components, all-in-all supposedly equating to over 1 million potential finishes.

The men behind the brand are Jason Battle, who’s a former GB triathlete , and his business partner Jamie Warner who also heads up sportswear brand STC Teamwear.

They both work from their headquarters and workshop in Suffolk where they are inviting riders to come and test out their bike types.

Aspire Cycles’ new range consists of four high modulus carbon race ready road bikes in sizes from XS to XL. These are the top-level Ardour, the Aerobe, the lightweight Altus and the Aerlous TT bike.
