Jonathan Manning looks at some of the best high performance cycling jerseys currently on the market. On test: Stolen Goat Pro Black Jersey
Sleeves rarely get much of a mention in jersey reviews, but the Stolen Goat’s definitely deserve a mention in dispatches. Not only are they longer than most, but they also hug the arm and shoulders for a flawless fit.
Panels of the same stretchy material run down both sides of the jersey, so it moves comfortably with the body whether riding on the bars, hoods or drops. Elsewhere, the fabric wicks sweat away from the skin, and provides UV protection for sunny days.
The only niggle is the tiny waterproof pocket, which takes cards and keys, but not a phone. Overall, though, this feels like a much more expensive jersey than its price tag suggests.
